Well the day started quite tiring due to some event full event the night before (oh yeah... my buddy is back.....wahaha!!!!)........ had only like 4 hours of sleep.....
Shift started at 8 as usual... brought breakfast.... but who knows.. within like 30 minutes after breakfast, it has begain.... the eventful day....
First was the case of person attempted suicide.....
Then next was suspicious charactor......
and its the fun part,
I and my colleague literally had a wrestling match with him in the lift.... from the 5 level to the ground floor to the road of a carpark... like a martial art of " ju-ji-tsu" trying to hold him down,
with me grabbing onto him or with whatever I can grab and my partner was like holding the "Ta gou bang" hitting a person on his legs.... all because he was so violent and strong.....
(lesson learnt-- never under estimate a subject about to be arrested)
The end result....
My partner with cuts on his figure and a bruised shin
and me with a hole in my pants ,a bruised and wounded knee and elbow,
initially I thought I had a fracture left arm...
and the subject... a torn shirt and pants with spoilted zip and lost handphone.....
after placing him at the lock up, I realised I cant hold my left arm higher then my shoulder without feeling pain.... thus decided to go to Tan Tock Seng Hospital for a check....
Waited for like 4hours and after which was relieve that the arm was ok as shown in the X-ray (hopefully the doctors don't call me up the next 2 days)... got the wound on my knee dressed up... got 2 days MC.....and the damage was $175/- ...... luckily its all covered by the government....
:)
Then while I was waiting in the hospital, it felt so weird to be in a uniform and sitting there waiting for treatment..... but its quite interesting to see that the people seeking treatment at the A&E department was mostly older folks.... with a few occassion where I spotted the ambulance in action of conveying injured people.....
Dont know why its so different... when I see the target on the job, I am filled with motivation of wanting to get the subject at all cost but when in comes to studies or some other things, i seem not so target orientated or motivated....
Oh well...... Anyway... the rest of the day was quite ok... apart from my arm still hurts at times... and a slight limp due to the wound on my right knee... else everything seem ok...
:)
This Saturday is going to be burned due to the NE show, so had extra duty to do.... sound good to me anyway caused from now till I ORD, I had only left like 7 1/2 days of leave... so if theres extra duty for me to claim hours, it will be good......
