Lets @@
Qutie some stuff to blog about....
Lets start with the Saturday FOP....
It was kinda ok, queue like for 3hrs plus before we could get in.
In my personal opinion;
Its abit too much like a rock concert and certain parts of it, it seems to be abit too commercialised about the part where they asked people to buy their CDs and help those shops which was sponsering the FOP event and stuff.
Through out the event, I was feeling empty.
I didn't feel anything like what other people claim... "connection with GOD and stuff".
Through out the event, I was just wondering whats GOD's purpose in my life....
still no answer though...
Anyway, the sermon was quite good.
Apart from the sermon, I don't really see a value of why the people there seems to be so "high".
Well it might just be me that I am not used to such worship sessions...
Being brought up as a christian in Wilki, all these was not a necessity, no drums, no electric guitar, no need to be jumping around. Nothing happening, but just simple worship songs or hymms with the piano or guitar and thats it.
The next question that was in my mind during the session was that being christian, aren't we all brother and sister in CHRIST?? Why are there so many different denomination?? All do things differently and at certain point of time, they seem to believe different sets of value of how things should be done.
Another un-answered question.
Lets move on...
After the FOP, sended Vanessa, Gregory and Samuel home. Acutally decided to go for supper but last minute, I recieve and SMS informing me that the reporting time for my duty was at 3.45 am. So I decided it would be better that I catch an early rest as it would be a long day the following day.(Sorry guys.. last minute decided not to go)
So after sending them back, I proceeded to station to sleep and my brother drove the car back home, so he could used it for church the following day.
Reach my station at 12am and I thought, still got 3hrs or so to sleep, better then nothing.
But guess what, I don't know who came into the restroom at don't know what time, and he knowing that we( my 2 colleagues and me) were all sleeping, he had to on the TV so loud that all of us were unable to sleep, inconsiderate people *sigh*
In the end, only managed to TRY to sleep but didn't manage to do so.
With the lack of sleep manage to get through the duty with little difficulty.
The dumb thing about this duty is that reporting time is at 4.30am but the event only started like 8am and we were on the duty ground like 6.15 am. So it was literally standing at the ground waiting for the sun to rise. (The spirit of scared lose mentality) *sigh*
Good thing is the duty was oversee by a person who is quite good at welfare for man.
It ended at 1.30pm and afterwhich came home played a few games of winning eleven with greg and then we proceeded to play soccer.
For the first time in a long long while, it actually didn't rain when i wanted to play soccer on sunday. The game was ok.
End product of lack of sleep and over excersie (due to friday Taekwondo training ,all the standing done this pass few days and today soccer game), gives you the prize of aching leg and i mean the whole leg. And a super tired body, I think after this entry I shall go and sleep, tomorrow (08/08/05) is another morning shift to go....
PS: I will do my comments on the comments you guys made when I am free and not so tired.
In the mean time more comments are still welcome. :)
