Amidst

Amidst all the assignments, test after test....
I found time to think and reflect...
Today message in church was about philippians 4:6

"Be anxious for nothing but in everthing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known to GOD"

It just hit me that eversince I have been here, I have been anxious about getting the grades I want, I have been anxious that at the end of the year I cannot afford to fail.
All the anxiousness have got to me since day 1......
Here is this versus that tells me not to be anxious, but leaving it in HIS hand, that HE will see me through it, giving thanks at every single momment HE has provided.
This is one lesson I am trying hard to learn.

Then it went on to versus 13...
"I can do all things through him who stregthens me."
Think this is as true as in can be, like what GOD has said,
"have faith of a mustard seed and you can move mountains"
I really thank GOD that amidst all this anxiousness and craziness of the life happening around me, these 2 versus serve as a timely reminder to me that HE is overall in-charge, all I have to do is to pray and believe.
And of cause do my very best.

Heres a thanksgiving Item....

-Thank HIM that I got back my first english assignment( It is worth 2.5% of my entire year grades), I got 70 out of 100, although it is still some distance away from the 85% mark, I just want to thank him for the 70 mark, because knowing me, I am an average 50-65% kind of person.

-Thank HIM also that for my maths test(also worth 2.5%), that he gave me 14.5 out of 20.
It wasn't a bad result as this is the grade I require.

Yup thats about it....

For this coming week and the following week, there will be more tests...
Biology, Physic and maths.....
There is also another english assignment (this time worth 5%) which is due on this coming thursday. (I am only starting to write it today... hee!)
Pray real hard that I will be able to get all the minimum grades I need.
Although all full marks would be good... :)
