As i read today newspaper and the papers a few weeks ago, it just seem that some people out there are that pretty narrow minded....
Whats with the nude picture that some 19 year old blogger posted in one of her post...
and every since the papers posted it... everyone keep harping on it which even after almost 2 weeks or so.... the papers are still writing on topics like "nude pics seems more common then thought"..... so be it.... kinda getting irritating whenever they just keep publishing the same thing over and over again....
Over reacting or publicity to certian issue?? maybe....
Okie... enough of that.....
Today David Hung spoke during the youth sessions... what he talk about did make sense....
That it takes time to appreciates things that is happening around us, be it good or bad stuff....
Things like parents constantly nagging or seemingly unreasonably demanding or just over reacting.... or things that we wanted it to happen in church but it never happen resulting in disappointment....
All this we have to endure and in the future it might just turn out to be a good lesson there and then... like he say it is a part and parcel of growing up, a process where everyone had to go by...
In todays context... many of us has been well protected from the harshness of the today world with our parents 24hrs, 7 days a week worrying about us....
Some even go to the extend of planning every route we suppose to take.....
Thus resulting in when our parents became abit harsher on us or reacting in a way we cannot relate to.... we felt that they were over doing it or they are just creating hell for us to live in....
But shouldn't that NOT be the point... cause afterall our parents are just reacting to what they think is right at that point of the concern..... maybe its just the way they communicate......
By trying to see the way they thinking or view of the situation then will only be beneficial to us....be it trying to convince them of our point of view or seeing why our parents suddenly out lash at us...
Rather then just aruging blindly by believing that we are correct or that parents are just going crazy at lashing out at us for nothing..... cause afterall we are their children thats a FACT...we could never change and the bible say HONOUR your parents.... and also we were living under our parents roof since day one of our birth....
Whats more is there to argue about but just to follow whatever instruction they had for us..... provided its not something bad....
It just a growing up process to experience demanding people, unreasonable people, crazy people, wildful people, people who act nice, people who are genuinely nice and concern, people who are close to us but yet seem to drift away from us, and people who remain true to you all this while... only we dont seem to realised it.....
It just take time to get used to all this people..... part and parcel of life..... the sooner we learn to appreciates the things around us.... the better it is......
For things in the church... what David Hung say is true also.... with all the things happening at churches... its best to refer back to the bible if unsure... and that many of us know the bible at the back of our head but then not at the heart.... but even then not one of us could understand the whole bible........
and he also reminded that prayer is one powerful tool that we all can use... if what we pray is according to GOD's will ..... "how our church was build"..... and also to remain alert as we are in the last days....
